We’re dying every single day in Gaza, in ways you can’t even dream up. Missiles, bullets, buildings falling apart, no medicine, sheer terror. And now, guess what? Hunger’s back on the menu. Israel’s shut down humanitarian supplies. Thanks, by the way, to not just Trump but to the voters who backed leaders in the U.S. and Europe who seem to have forgotten what justice looks like.

So many names behind those tiny, skeletal bodies you’ll be seeing on TV again. Netanyahu and Trump, chatting comfortably, playing God with lives they’ll never encounter. Kids in Gaza—just collateral damage. Families—pawns on a chessboard, disposable.

Once, our kitchens smelled of home. Spice, olive oil, fresh bread. Now? Cans, dried goods, whatever we scrounge up. Things are gone, says John Whyte from the UN relief agency. Six weeks without aid, thanks to the Israeli blockade. WFP announced last week: no more food in Gaza. Over 2.1 million people, trapped and starving.

Eating’s just survival now. Charity meals in plastic containers, moms breaking down, babies crying. Dads looking at the dirt, ashamed. We try to make something out of nothing, but even dreams are worn out.

Fresh food? It’s all just memories. Used to share the little we had, but now? Empty shelves.

How did we get here? A world where starving people is a tactic in negotiations?

This isn’t just fallout from war. It’s a strategy. A cold plan to use hunger as control. Weaken us into submission. It’s not rationing—it’s erasure.

Yet, we remember. 1948, 1967—when we were forced from homes, again and again. We held onto our land. But now, more than 70% of Gaza’s lost to us.

And how would you know? CNN? Barely a word. We’re ghosts in the news cycle, too political, too messy.

Ever watched a mom split a single loaf among five kids? Heard of a child dying in a frenzy for food? Sounds like fiction, doesn’t it? But it’s not.

Even my cat’s starving. And I’m clueless about how to fix it. But other folks can watch us starve and shrug.

Nations preaching about human rights? Silent. South Africa tried the ICJ for genocide charges, got polite requests back. “Stop bombing, let aid in.” Ignored, drowned by allies—France, Germany, the U.S.—all too cautious to name it: genocide.

This isn’t just Gaza’s tragedy. It’s the murder of justice itself. What’s left when laws knuckle under to power?

Decide what legacy you want. Apathy towards our starvation? Or courage that makes justice more than soundbites?

We don’t need your pity or your tears. We need rights, food, and security. A ceasefire’s a start, not the end. The siege and apartheid aren’t side notes. They’re the whole damn story.

And when all’s uncovered, and someday it will be, the question will echo: How did you let it happen?
