Vrabel, who impressed during his stint as head coach of the Tennessee Titans, brings a wealth of experience from both his playing and coaching days. As a former Patriots linebacker, he gathered impressive accolades, including three Super Bowl wins from 2001 to 2008. His coaching journey, however, started in the college ranks with Ohio State in 2011 before making his way into the NFL with the Houston Texans’ defensive team in 2014. In 2017, he was promoted to defensive coordinator, paving the way for his head coaching opportunity with the Titans.
During his time in Tennessee, Vrabel quickly made a name for himself. The Titans enjoyed a string of successful seasons, highlighted by a dramatic run to the AFC Championship Game in 2019 and earning the number one seed in the AFC in 2021. Vrabel’s legacy with the Patriots is firmly cemented; he became a franchise icon during his eight seasons with the team, and his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2023 further solidified his place in their history.
