Reflecting on 2024, it’s been the most exhausting year in my career so far, yet one of the most rewarding in terms of finances. We’ve really seen the payoff of all our hard work this year.
And the outcome? I’ve officially reached the $1 million milestone, excluding the value of my HDB flat from this figure.
Thinking back on how I achieved this, there are a few key strategies that got me here: I consistently worked on increasing my income, kept my expenses to a minimum, and continuously invested in stocks and cryptocurrencies over the last decade.
In 2024, both the stock markets and cryptocurrencies hit unprecedented highs, and my investment portfolio certainly benefited from this rise. Additionally, my salaried income doubled, and my side projects really gained momentum.
Without these factors coming together, I don’t think I would have been able to hit that million-dollar mark.
