Turning to Docusign, the electronic signature platform experienced an 8% increase in its share value. This uptick came as the company posted stronger-than-expected earnings for the fourth quarter. Docusign’s adjusted earnings were reported at 86 cents per share, nudging past the consensus forecast of analysts surveyed by LSEG by just a cent. Revenue was reported at $776 million, exceeding the anticipated $761 million.
Next up is Rubrik, a company in the data management space that saw its stock rally by 15% after delivering a better-than-anticipated fourth-quarter performance. Rubrik reported an adjusted loss of 18 cents per share, which was a significant improvement over the 39-cent loss forecast by analysts, according to LSEG. The company’s revenue reached $258 million, topping the consensus estimate of $233 million.
PagerDuty also made headlines with its stock surging 9% due to solid earnings and the announcement of a new share repurchase program. For the fourth quarter, PagerDuty reported earnings of 22 cents, excluding certain items, on revenues of $121.4 million. Analysts polled by LSEG had predicted earnings of 16 cents per share and revenues of $120 million.
Lastly, let’s talk about Semtech, a company in the semiconductor sector. It saw its shares jump nearly 12% after revealing better-than-expected earnings and providing strong guidance for the current quarter. Semtech reported fourth-quarter earnings of 40 cents, excluding certain items, on revenues of $251 million.
